Daughters of the King

Join The Daughters of the King for Tea May 1

The Daughters of the King (DOK), Transfiguration Chapter, invites all women to a “Get to Know the DOK” Tea on Sunday, May 1, 2-5 pm, at St. Andrew’s House. We are a group of women who have committed, by a vow and induction to the order, to daily prayer and spreading the good news and we would like for you to learn more about our organization and our mission. We certainly hope to find others who would be interested in joining our organization, but more importantly, we want to build connections among the women of our parish. No RSVP required. Hope you can join us on Sunday, May 1!

The Daughters of the King (DOK) is an international Order for women and girls in the Episcopal Church with chapters in the Roman Catholic, Anglican, and in the Evangelical Lutheran Churches in America. A Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service, and evangelism; dedicated to the spread of Christ's kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.  This wonderful ministry meets every third Sunday at 3:30 in the St. Andrew's House. All women in the parish are invited to participate.
