Many feel pain, sorrow, anger and depression instead of joy and gladness at Christmastime. During his life on earth, Jesus suffered from all the sorts of physical and emotional pain and more than any of us can know, and he is very much with and within us, knowingly, when we suffer.
On Wednesday, December 10 at 6:30 pm, our “Comfort When Christmas Hurts” service will provide a time for acknowledging the reality of pain and emotional suffering, and offer comfort, healing and reconciliation. Along with the liturgy, lay pastoral caregivers and clergy will be available for those desiring individual prayers. Please join us if Christmas joy eludes you, and let others know about this opportunity to find a bit of the Peace that Christmas is intended to bring.
