God’s Secretaries: Explore the Making of the King James Bible

The King James Bible is the GREATEST work of English prose ever written! You may not realize it, but the translation of the bible we use every Sunday is a direct descendant of the King James Bible.

The Spiritual Reading Group is discussing how this translation was conceived and implemented in only seven years. On January 11, the Spiritual Reading Group hopes to finish our look at how this translation was conceived and implemented with our discussion of God’s Secretaries, by Adam Nicholson, covering chapters 9-12 – and the appendices!

If you are unable to attend, you can participate by joining the SAEC Spiritual Reading Group Facebook page, where John Grothues and/or John Ibanez monitor the online discussion.
