Pentecost: Wear Red & Stay for Lunch!

On Sunday, May 24, we will celebrate the first day of Pentecost at St. Andrew’s and share the Holy Spirit with new members during Baptism. Pentecost, when wind and fire came down to the disciples on the fiftieth day after Easter, is considered the “Birthday of the Church.” We invite you to join the celebration and:

  1. Look for the Pentecost flyer at church and list the abundant blessings you have received as part of the St. Andrew’s community, then place in the offering plate or leave in your pew. All will be gathered for a special thanksgiving prayer by Rev. Grace.

  2. Wear red on Pentecost Sunday to symbolize the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  3. Celebrate together with a Pot Luck Lunch and birthday cake after the 10:30 AM service. Bring your favorite dish to share!
