Rhythms of Grace

A Worship Service For All Ages & Abilities

Rhythms of Grace is a way for people with special needs to enjoy worship in their own way. An ecumenical service and playtime, the service was created so that parents could have a place where they could worship with their children without worrying about verbal disruptions or distracting movements and gestures.

At Rhythms of Grace we gather and play at a common activity as all are welcomed and made comfortable. We share a story from the Bible and then break bread during a short liturgy of Holy Communion. Following the peace, those present are invited to explore the story, choosing from a variety of sensory and tactile activities adapted to each theme, before bidding our friends goodbye until next time. The service is full of music, movement, and laughter.

The service is every Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the St. Andrews Parish Hall, and all are welcome! Services are also streamed at facebook.com/saecheights.

If you have a particular need or any questions please contact Lisa Puccio, Coordinator for Special Needs Worship or Rev. Jimmy Grace.
